Our humankind shares this planet with millions of other animal species (approximately 2.13 million). Yet, our human-centrism condemns many animals to a life of exploitation. Animals in the farm industry live in horrible conditions, including cramped, unsanitary living quarters, lack of sunlight, and disease susceptibility. This industry affects not only nonhuman animals but also marginalized groups in our society, who are the most affected by the pollution from factory farms. Veganism rises as a manifest to end the oppression of all oppressed beings on this planet, aiming for a healthier and sustainable world for animals, people, and the environment.
